President and Chief Executive Officer
With over 26 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and advanced materials, Rocco brings a strong track record of scaling technologies and driving sustainable growth.
Since joining NanoXplore, he has been instrumental in expanding the company’s graphene production capabilities, leading key acquisitions, and strengthening its operational presence across North America. His leadership has enhanced production performance, increased customer adoption, and reinforced NanoXplore’s position as a reliable industry leader.
As CEO, Rocco will focus on accelerating market adoption, optimizing operations, and advancing NanoXplore’s leadership in graphene and clean technology.
He previously held senior roles at Martinrea International, leading major manufacturing operations across North America and Mexico and delivering notable improvements in safety, efficiency, and team performance.
Under Rocco’s leadership, NanoXplore will continue to deliver innovative, sustainable material solutions for the industries of the future.
Chief Operating Officer
Ilia brings more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing and operations leadership across the advanced manufacturing, automotive, food processing, and steel industries. Since joining the company in 2022, he has played a key role in expanding NanoXplore’s manufacturing footprint, increasing production capacity, and supporting the commercialization of graphene-enhanced technologies across multiple industries. His expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth strategy.
Chief Financial Officer
Pedro is a seasoned finance executive with experience in manufacturing, operations, and mergers and acquisitions. Former CFO of Tarkett Sports, he began his career as a cost accountant and advanced into corporate controller roles, building expertise in financial planning, performance optimization, and cross-functional leadership.
Chief Technology Officer
Nima brings over a decade of leadership in advanced materials and battery innovation. Since joining NanoXplore in 2015, he has overseen R&D, product development, IP strategy, regulatory affairs, and product certification, and has guided VoltaXplore’s technology and IP since its inception. He also serves as a Director on the Board of PRIMA Québec. Nima holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Sc. in Nanotechnology, and a B.A.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering.

Joseph G. Peter is the retired CFO of Nissan Motor Corporation, where he also served on the Executive Committee and chaired the boards of Nissan’s sales finance subsidiaries. He is the former VP and CFO of North American and International Operations at General Motors. His expertise in global finance and automotive operations enhances NanoXplore’s financial and strategic initiatives.

Rob Wildeboer brings over 30 years of experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors. He is the Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Martinrea International Inc. and serves as Vice Chairman of the Auto Parts Manufacturers Association (APMA) and is a Director of the Canadian Automotive Partnership Council (CAPC). An advisor to the Governments of Canada and Ontario, Rob contributes strategic insight, industry expertise, and governance leadership to NanoXplore’s continued growth.

Arinder Mahal brings extensive experience in finance, strategy, and business development. He is Founder and CEO of Antera Inc. and has held senior roles including CEO of Synoptim Advisory, Managing Director at Echelon Wealth Partners, and Managing Director at Dundee Securities. His expertise in corporate strategy, capital markets, and technology investment supports NanoXplore’s growth and success.
Senior advisor to the corporate world
Catherine Loubier is an expert advisor with extensive experience in government, business strategy, and public affairs. She is the former Québec Delegate General in NY, Deputy Chief of Staff to Québec’s Premier, and senior advisor to Canada’s 22nd Prime Minister. Her expertise in public policy, business relations, and international affairs strengthens NanoXplore’s global strategy and expansion.
Technip Energies President Technology & Products
Jesse C. H. Stanley is Technip Energies President Technology & Products. She also served as President Operations Americas for Wood plc since 2024. She previously worked for Shell Energy North America, LLC as the Chief Operations Officer. Since 2019 she has held the positions of General Manager Commercial for Shales and the Vice President of Pipeline Operations for Shell Midstream Company. Her expertise in energy operations and infrastructure drives NanoXplore’s sustainable and efficient growth.
Chief People and Sustainability Officer
Hélène V. Gagnon is Chief People and Sustainability Officer at CAE Inc. and formerly served as Chief Sustainability Officer, Senior VP of Stakeholder Engagement, and Senior VP of Public Affairs and Global Communications at CAE. She has also held senior roles at Bombardier Aerospace and practiced Environmental Law at Fasken. Her expertise in strategic communications, corporate responsibility, and sustainability provides valuable insight for NanoXplore’s ESG and corporate strategy.
